Writing articles for a website can be very rewarding, but also quite time consuming. But, there are some people who cannot write worth a lick, or just don't want to put their energy in this direction. There are websites that have free articles you can use on websites. Using articles on a website will bring in new content and get the website seen by more people. It is a great way to drive traffic to just about any site.
Free Articles on Isnare.com
Isnare.com has some good articles to use on websites for free. There are some conditions, however. The copywrite of the article belongs to the author. A requirement is that everyone must copy the full article as it is, including the "About the Author" section. If someone wants to edit it for grammar or spelling errors, the author must be contacted for permssion to do this.
In the author's bio there will likely be links to the author's website. Always activate any links if the article will be reprinted on to a website, blog, or forum. The author of the article is hoping to generate traffic from the hosting site to his as well, and it is the least one can do for permission to use the article for free. Also include a clickable link at the bottom of each article as follows, "Source: www.Isnare.com."

Articlebiz.com is another good website where there are free articles to use on a website. It is an easily searchable site. Most of the articles are well written and well researched. The articles must be published "as is."
Be sure to include the resources box at the end of the article, which has the author’s bio and copyright information. Do not change any of the links, and they must be made clickable. Also do not add any linked keywords to the body of the article.

Another website that offers free articles is Articleset.com. They have articles in every category imaginable. The conditions of using articles from this site are:
The article must be published unedited, with all links left intact and clickable. This includes the link at the bottom of the screen that is a link back to Articleset.com. Also include the "About the Author" box unchanged.

Easyarticles.com is another good site for free articles for a website. Do not change the article in any way, and must include the author’s bio with any attached links. Articlecity.com is unique in that it pulls free articles from around the web. The standard terms apply.
Article Warehouse has both free copyright free articles and licensed articles. Licensed articles require payment for use, but they have many copyright free articles to use for free as well. They have many categories, but the site is not search-friendly. Article titles are listed by numbers, and not in alphabetical order.
