Five Day Conference Aimed at Web and Graphic Designers
No matter what level a webmaster, designer, or developer considers themselves, it never hurts to attend a conference to learn new skills and brush up on ones already learned. Knowledge, after all, is a major key to between average work and exceptional work.
Create Chaos is a multi-event conference coming to Orlando, Florida that will offer several days of learning and networking opportunities for those who work in a creative field, such as web and graphic design, along with professional photographers and those who work in the administrative side of the business, as well.
When and Where is Create Chaos 08?
The event runs October 13th through 17th, 2008 at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida.
What Events are Featured During Create Chaos?
The five-day conference will feature ten different events, including a web and design conference, a job fair, a track by FreshBooks on billing and invoicing clients, the Annual Create Awards, and the Motion Graphics Festival.
During the different events, expect panels featuring hands-on learning about the latest tools, tips/tricks, and resources available to photographers, designers and developers. Attendees will also get exposed to the latest software and hardware developments, along with online resources that will enable one to conduct their business more efficiently.
There are also two free events during the week worth noting - “BarCampChaos,” a Monday-night session that invites participants to control the programming by preparing a 20 minute talk on any creative topic and presenting it to other conference attendees, and doterati’s “Juggling Creativity and Business,” on Wednesday night, where local Orlando business leaders Ted Murphy of IZEA, Sterling Raphael of NFi Studios, Scott Allen from MonkeyFoot.com and Chuck Southworth of the Southworth Group will all speak on starting creative businesses from the ground up.
Create Chaos 08 Ticket Prices
A full five-day pass will be $995. A three-day pass (Monday-Wednesday or Wednesday - Friday) will be $695. Single day passes are $395. The FreshBooks track on Wednesday is $295. Admission to just the expo hall on any single day of the conference is $45. And as noted above, BarCampChaos and the doterati events are free, and also allow attendees to visit the expo hall the same day as the event free of charge, as well.
